Balaklava Courthouse Gallery Inc

This historic courthouse, built in 1913, was converted into an art gallery and gift shop when offered to the community. The Courthouse Gallery is open every Sunday, Thursday and Friday from 2 - 4pm and at other times by appointment. Free admission, air-conditioned, wheelchair access! Enjoy vibrant and varied exhibitions by emerging and regional artists in the main gallery, and purchase unique local gifts from the gallery gift shop.

Balaklava Eisteddfod Society

The Balaklava Eisteddfod Society (BES) is a sub-committee of Balaklava Community Arts Inc. established in 1997. The annual Balaklava Eisteddfod provides an avenue for encouraging performers in music and drama. Entrants often enter for: * performance experience * exam preparation * audition skills * performance opportunities * recognition Every competitor receives a certificate and a written assessment of an accomplished and independent adjudicator. The 16th Balaklava Eisteddfod weekend will be held on Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July 2012.

Bapea Art School & Studios

Bapea Art School & Studios complements secondary visual arts training accommodating a student's transition into tertiary training. Extended exposure to studio practice in professional artists' environment facilitates guided career choices. Beginners as well as experienced practicing artists attend Bapea. Bapea Gallery exhibits local artists.

Barossa Arts and Convention Centre

The Barossa Arts and Convention Centre is situated on 22 hectares of landscaped gardens and lawns and is surrounded by mature vineyards. On the adjacent school grounds there are tennis and basketball courts, a running track, bush walks and access to the Tanunda Recreation Centre. The Centre is located within minutes of the Barossa’s famous restaurants, major hotels, motels, caravan parks and Bed and Breakfast facilities.
