The Fleurieu Art Prize, the world's richest landscape painting prize, culminates in a rich combination of fine art, some of the world's best wine, fine food and beautiful vistas of the region as the finalists for each of the prize categories are exhibited in wineries and galleries throughout this exquisite region. The main prize ($50,000) is for painting of any landscape from around the world and is accompanied by four other prizes of $10,000 each including a Youth Scholarship for artists aged 16-27 years.

The focus of the public program is Flinders University City Gallery, located at the State Library of SA, where an exciting and challenging public program provides an accessible community visual art resource.

Flinders has a Masters of Tourism program that articulates with the Graduate Certificate in Tourism and the Graduate Diploma in Tourism. There are 2 streams in this area: Festival and Event Design and Management and Tourism. Tourism at Flinders University also runs a Bachelor of International Tourism degree which covers, history, heritage, arts, culture, festivals and events plus a graduate program in Festivals and Events management which includes an articulated program of professional development workshops.
The Flute Society of South Australia is a non-profit organisation which aims to foster and encourage enjoyment of flute playing in the broadest possible sense. The Society’s role includes promoting local and interstate artists, encouraging young players and forging links out into the community. Regular activities of the Flute Society include workshops, concerts, fun days, masterclasses and recitals.

Fontanelle is a new gallery and studio complex located in Bowden, just beyond the Adelaide CBD. Fontanelle Gallery is a space for showcasing emerging and established contemporary artists and curators on a local, national and international basis. Working between artist-run communities and the commercial contemporary art gallery models, Fontanelle also houses 17 artist studios, an installation space and a dedicated space for artist-led workshops.
Format Collective is a group of artists, writers, musicians and party technicians loosely based around the Format Zine Shop in Adelaide’s CBD. We’re responsible for the annual Format Festival, monthly-ish exhibitions, regular live music gigs and random acts of public art.
