Adelaide International Guitar Festival

Presented by the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Adelaide International Guitar Festival is an intense four-day festival held in August to celebrate one of the world's most popular instruments. The Adelaide International Guitar Festival continues to garner a reputation for presenting some of the finest musicians from around the world and Australia, crossing a range of genres and showcasing their skill, musicianship and creativity.  Complementing the program is a range of free and low cost workshops, master classes, artist talks and panel discussions.

Adelaide Parklands Art Prize

Exhibiting since 2014, this biennial series of the prestigious Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize will again take place in 2018. This is a major art prize, with a prize pool of $33,000 in 2018 and is initiated by the Adelaide Park Lands Preservation Association (APPA) to highlight through art the beauty and fragility of the Park Land belt that surrounds the city of Adelaide. The prize is open to all artists, of all ages, from all countries, working in 2 or 3-dimensional art forms. Artists are encouraged to make a statement or capture the essence of the Adelaide Park Lands.

Adelaide Philharmonia Chorus Inc

The Adelaide Philharmonia Chorus is a large choir in South Australia performing a range of music including works from major classical and contemporary composers. The Chorus is committed to the pursuit of excellence in performing large-scale choral works and new works. The Chorus regularly performs in Adelaide and travels to regional centres and overseas. The choir is available for engagements.

A hundred years on, The Adelaide Repertory Theatre is the oldest surviving amateur theatre company in the Southern Hemisphere. Adelaide Vocal Project Inc

The Adelaide Vocal Project is a 12 member vocal ensemble specialising in contemporary scores and exploring alternative performance methods. The Project's major performances so far, all produced in collaboration with Leigh Warren & Dancers and State Opera SA, have been award-winning, new Australian productions of Philip Glass' Portrait Trilogy of operas - Akhnaten in 2002, Einstein on the Beach (Parts 3 & 4) in 2004, Einstein on the Beach (Parts 1 & 2) in 2006 and Satyagraha in 2007.
