Deidre But-Husaim is a visual artist based in Adelaide, painting is at the core of her art practice. Deidre has held solo exhibitions in Melbourne and Sydney. Her work has been included in numerous group exhibitions. Deidre has been a finalist in the Archibald Prize, Sulman Prize, Doug Moran Prize, Portia Geach Memorial Award, Redlands Art Awards, John Fries Memorial Prize and The RBS Emerging Artist Award to name a few. She co-founded Hedgemaze artist studios in Port Adelaide (2004 - 2009) and The Incinerator studios in Thebarton (2009 - present) designed by Walter Burley Griffin in 1932.
