Daniel Jaber is a South Australian choreographer and performer. His choreography has been described by critics as “challenging”, “provocative” and “gripping”. He fuses classical techniques with design aesthetics, innovative collaboration and philosophy to create unique, experiential experiences for his audiences. In 2010 he premiered his first full-length work, a solo titled 'Too far again, not far enough…' which won multi-awards at the 2010 Adelaide Fringe Awards. He has since created work for Australian tertiary institutions and received commissions from major dance festivals in Berlin and Kuala Lumpur. Works to date include: Nought, Stoic, WG-Spiel, Poetic Structure, Agile, Reassessment and his works currently in development include Degradation and Colours of Night. 2012 sees the premiere of a new work by the Australian Dance Theatre and further work on his previous work Agile – to be presented in 2013.
