An initiative of Arts South Australia, Made in Adelaide showcases the work of South Australian artists at the Edinburgh Fringe, putting a spotlight on our creatives, presenters, producers and companies in the heart of the international festivals circuit.
Since 2016 Made in Adelaide has provided a recognisable brand for South Australian cultural exports, allowing delegates to increase their international profile, network with key industry members and secure international tour bookings, co-productions and festival invitations.
Introduced in 2017, the Made in Adelaide Award aims to help locally-based artists or companies who are already planning to present their work at the Edinburgh Fringe.
It is open to any South Australian act on the Adelaide Fringe program that is considering taking tour-ready work to Edinburgh, and is judged by a panel of arts industry peers on the lookout for quality, creativity and ambition.
The winner receives $10,000 as well as marketing support through the Made in Adelaide program guide and website.
