A message from Arts South Australia about recent changes

This week the role of Executive Director of Arts South Australia was abolished, resulting in the departure of Executive Director Peter Louca.

The decision by Acting Chief Executive of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet Erma Ranieri comes after an independent review of DPC's business operations, based on existing required savings targets and the need for organisational efficiencies and reform.

Director, Arts Program, Organisations and Initiatives Jennifer Layther will until further notice be responsible for operational functions of Arts South Australia within DPC.

Ms Layther is on leave until Tuesday September 4, so Director of Cultural Heritage and Assets Hannah Schultz will undertake that role in her absence.

Arts South Australia would like to assure the sector and the public that it is conducting business as usual, and that our team is continuing to work hard to serve the sector.

We would like to thank Peter Louca for his tireless and passionate work leading the agency over the last three years, and for his many achievements and contributions to the sector and the State, and we wish him well in his future endeavours.
